ORDERING AND SHIPPING |
| How much do you charge for
shipping? HPS charges a flat, per-order
shipping charge, regardless of the number of items in the order,
depending upon the delivery destination. The amounts are shown at the top of the store pages and on the order confirmation page, so you'll know the total before you place your order. |
| What carrier do you ship
with, and can I choose a different carrier? HPS
dispatches parcels via the United States Postal Service's Priority
Mail. International orders will be handled by additional carriers
at USPS discretion. If you would prefer your package be shipped
via a different carrier, e.g. FedEx, you must email us first with
your address and carrier choice so that we may calculate a shipping rate
for you; the rate we quote you will be the carrier's exact rate PLUS a
surcharge of US$10.00 to cover our extra handling costs. |
| What methods of payment do you
accept? The HPS web site store accepts VISA,
MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, and DISCOVER CARD via secured
transaction. You may also use our store's ordering process to
calculate your order's total (including shipping and tax where
applicable), then mail to us a personal check or money order for the
total amount. |
| Does HPS charge sales tax on
orders? If the delivery address is within
the state of California, USA, the appropriate sales tax (including the
additional tax for residents of Santa Clara county, if applicable) will
be automatically added to your order by the HPS store interface.
Residents of other jurisdictions are responsible for conforming to their
local tax codes at their discretion. |
| Are HPS products sold at venues
other than the HPS web site? Yes, but on an
"independent agent" basis. A partial list of such
agents may be found here. |
| How does HPS handle import duties?
We don't. Import duties are imposed by
certain destination countries and are the responsibility of the subjects
of those governments. Please do not ask us to mislabel shipments
or otherwise attempt to defraud these governments. |

| Which operating systems will run HPS
products? HPS products
are known to run on Windows95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, VISTA, and Win7. HPS products
are not designed to run on other operating systems, though third-party
emulation schemes may enable this functionality; however, HPS makes no
warrant of guarantee regarding use of its products on non-Windows-based
OSs. |
| What are the minimum
system resource requirements needed to run HPS products? Different
products have different minimum system resource requirements.
Please consult the "Products" page for the specific HPS
product in question to determine its minimum system requirements. |
