General Purchasing Information
Unless otherwise specified by the customer, all shipments are sent FOB using US Post Office Domestic Priority/Global First Class service. For special delivery HPS uses FedEx. There is an additional charge for all special deliveries, on top of the actual freight cost. Please see the main shipping page for the current shipping rates/chrges.
HPS does not send items COD. All shipments must be paid for in full, including S/H, before the package is turned over to the carrier. For payment, HPS accepts major credit cards, international or domestic money orders, cashier's checks, personal checks and wire transfers. For checks or money orders, the funds must be payable at a US bank or Post Office, and in US dollars. For wire transfers, the customer is responsible for all charges at both the originating and destination banks.
HPS accepts returns within 30 days of the original purchase date, provided the game is returned in the original wrapped condition. However, the original S/H charge along with any return charges are the responsibility of the customer, and will not be refunded, unless due to mis-shipment or other fault of HPS.
Returns of product that has been opened or unwrapped will be accepted only with the prior approval of HPS, and all such returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee of at least $7.00 per unit. This restocking fee covers the extra costs of processing and issuing the credit, and compensates us in so far as returned product can not be resold and must be destroyed. The actual amount of the restocking fee will be disclosed when obtaining our advance consent to return the product. The original S/H costs are non-refundable; credit will be issued based strictly on the product price.
Unwrapped or opened product which is received without our prior consent will be discarded, and no credit will be issued. Please email us by clicking here, for more information.
Orders may be cancelled at any time prior to shipment without penalty or cost. Requests for order cancellations should be sent to: Shipping Department.
Customs and Import Duties:
Payment of all customs and import duties and other unique national fees are the responsibility of the customer.
HPS fills out the customs form on packages in accordance with US Postal Service regulations. We can not deviate from these regulations in any manner, including misrepresentation of the material in the package, the value, or whether or not it is a gift.
Replacement of Defective Products:
Upon notification and proper verification, HPS will replace defective products at no expense to the customer. If possible and practical, correction of the defect will be made via email file transfer. Otherwise, replacement products will be sent by the standard HPS shipping methods.
At a minimum, we try to be available between 3 and 5 pm Pacific time. If you call at another time or cannot get through during this period, please leave a message on the voice mail system and we'll will contact you.
