A digital Gameworks Game:
X-Combat Actions: The Days of the Dead
'Who the hell knew they were signing up for this?!' Special Agent Mark 'Skippy' Slater, Field Commander CIA Special Ops Unit 'Romeo', Task Force 23
Just because the enemy might be dead, thanks to a secret advanced US Bio-War project called 'Omega', it doesn't mean that he can't still fight.
Sound like a movie? Well... eventually it will be. But for now, in the fall of 1968, it's the real world of Ft. Marlene. Welcome to that world. Welcome to the world of science gone bad. Welcome to the world of gripping un-dead combat up from the grave....
They're BAAACK!

As the first installment in the X-Combat Series, The Days Of the Dead plots players against the unintended results of the 'Project Omega Experiment' which has gone out of control. Specifically: legions of crazed humans.
Crazed humans who should be dead, but aren't. Crazed humans who aren't really human. Crazed humans who search for LIVE human prey.
Crazed humans who you have to kill.
$24.95 (CD + Download) $14.95 (Download Only)
It Isn't All Fun & Brains
Who knew, but killing things that are already dead takes more than just tons of ammo. It also takes a keen sense of your men, their weapons capabilities, small-unit tactics and a sharp sense of smell.
You can't duplicate the odors on a computer, but you can practice tactics and strategy. With The Days of the Dead's unique randomized initiative turn based system, besides some luck... you'll need every ounce of your gray matter to beat back the stench of the goulish attackers.

The Days of the Dead also includes striking, fully animated 3D graphics along with immersive sound and special effects. It's a skirmish-level game that's as personal as it gets. 'Mano a Mano' or 'Mano a Muerto' (as the case may be), with a sense of immediacy and danger to every mission. What's more, by default it runs in a campaign type mode. So you know that guy on your team who was always thinking of pizza? You know. The one who got eaten. Well, from here on our it looks like you can, 'hold the anchovies'...
